Julia K. Maddalena

Julia K. Maddalena is a founding member of DMW Law Group. Her practice is focused on municipal law as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Panama City Beach, general counsel representation of homeowner and condominium community associations, and general civil litigation, including real property, employment law and commercial business litigation. She has successfully represented clients before the Florida Supreme Court, the Florida First District Court of Appeals, Florida’s federal district courts, state courts, and numerous government agencies, including the DBPR, EEOC and FCHR. She is active in her community serving in various leadership and governance roles.

Mrs. Maddalena earned her Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2014. After graduating, Mrs. Maddalena worked as a Staff Attorney for the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she assisted the circuit judges with legal research and writing. She worked for the judiciary for three years, focusing primarily on civil litigation. She left the court in 2017 and pursued her career in private practice with the largest regional law firm operating in Bay County.

After years of practicing at a respected regional law firm, Mrs. Maddalena founded DMW Law Group with her fellow members in 2025 to serve clients with a more personal, community-centered approach. Their vision is to blend big-firm experience with small-town accessibility.

When she’s not practicing law, she’s spending time with her husband and two daughters. They love to unwind by boating at Shell Island — a place to recharge and enjoy the beauty of our coastal community.
